Eyelash extensions are individual synthetic hairs that are applied to your own lashes to make them instantly look more voluminous, darker and longer semi-permanently.
I use the hair-by-hair technique exclusively which means that I apply one extension to each of your natural eyelash hairs, rather than full or half strips or clumps. The strips tend to be a one-fits-all type of solution, and let’s face it, we all have different eyes! By following your actual eyelash line, I can ensure the extensions look as natural as possible and compliment you rather than stand out and scream “Fake!”. I also provide a selection of hairs with different length, thickness and curl so we can further pick together the best fitting type.
The adhesive I use is specifically designed for semi-permanent application and is very different from regular faux eyelash glue. While stronger, it’s also flexible so it adheres to your lashes firmly but without damage. When correctly applied, extensions are weightless and you will quickly forget you’re wearing them!
Once on, they require very little additional care, and you can forget about applying mascara every day! You will look flawless from the moment you wake up in bed, through a busy work day, quick sweaty gym session after and all the way through your evening drinks with the girls. No touch ups, mascara flakes, smears or smudging!
Going on vacation and want to ditch the full make up look – no better time for extensions! They are completely water proof so you can lounge by the beach or enjoy a packed day of sightseeing without having to worry about the heat and salt water messing with your makeup while still looking polished and put together (pro tip – eyebrow microblading is perfect for those situations too!).
As each extension is applied to your natural eyelash hairs, the longevity will depend on your natural growth and renewal cycle. As you gradually loose your natural lashes over the course of a month for most people you will loose the extensions as well. A single application can last up to 4 weeks, however I do recommend a follow up visit for infills every 2 to 3 weeks if you wish to maintain your extensions for longer periods of time. This will ensure they always look full and at their maximum best. If you’re planning on having the extensions for a special occasion or a holiday only, within 6 weeks your lashes will be back to their natural length completely on their own.

Aftercare
- You should avoid getting your eyelashes wet within the first 24 h after application as the adhesive is setting. This includes saunas and steam.
- Between 50 and 100 individual extensions are applied during your appointment. It’s normal to experience a few falling out in the first 24 h and you should not be alarmed.
- Do not use an eyelash curler to minimize pulling on the extensions. They will be pre-curled and hold their shape.
- If you tint your eyelashes, plan your appointment immediately before the application appointment. Tinting your natural lashes with the extensions on will damage the bond.
- Avoid rubbing, pulling or picking at the extensions. If you decide you’d like to remove them, please do not pull them off to avoid damage to your natural lashes. Contact me to make an appointment for save removal.
- Use the brush that will be provided at the appointment to gently groom the hairs in place.
- Be careful when you resume your skin care and makeup routine. Avoid applying oil based products to your lash line.
